For the radio program Vera On Track hosted by Vera Siemons on NPO 3FM, we are urgently seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, creative, and musically talented Editor (with production duties) for Radio & Online (32 hours per week)
As an editor on the editorial staff of Vera On Track , you’ll work for NTR in the dynamic environment of the youth platform NPO 3FM. In her own weekend shows, Saturdays and Sundays from 7 to 10 p.m., Vera Siemons takes listeners on a journey into the world of new music and festivals—from indie rock to pop and from dance to hip-hop. For up-and-coming artists and pop culture, look no further than Vera on Track is the place to be.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- During the workweek, from Wednesday through Sunday, work with your colleagues on the script for the broadcasts;
- Brainstorming and developing content for the broadcast and social media in collaboration with the producer;
- Preparing and transcribing interviews;
- Manage all online content;
- In addition to the weekly radio broadcasts, contribute to the development of podcasts and online videos for 3FM’s various channels;
- Keep a close eye on NPO 3FM’s musical direction, as well as the online and listening habits of 3FM’s young target audience. You know better than anyone where they are and what’s on their minds;
- Helping out with joint projects organized by NPO 3FM, such as Serious Request and various festivals;
- Represent the relevant NTR titles during 3FM's online editorial meeting.

- Able to effectively translate your own creative ideas and those of your colleagues to Vera On Track’s target audience;
- A flexible worker who takes the initiative, keeps things moving at a brisk pace, and switches effortlessly between various tasks; a team player who is creative and proactive;
- An organizational talent who provides guidance and structure;
- You have a knack for figuring out what works on social media;
- A strong and energetic individual who excels at both verbal and written communication and enjoys contributing to a positive team atmosphere;
- Proficient in the Adobe suite and skilled at creating simple audio and video edits.
Here's what we offer:
We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible, and we are offering a contract through December 31, 2024, with the possibility of extension.
Depending on your knowledge and experience, this position is classified within salary grade F (with a salary range of €2,711.87 to €3,988.60) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Broadcasting Personnel.
