How we interact with one another is an increasingly important issue in every organization, including within the PvdA. Making this topic open to discussion across the party is part of the “Responsible Conduct” project. As part of this effort, existing rules are also being thoroughly reviewed. As a policy officer, you will play both a coordinating and an implementing role in this project, overseeing its progress.
On the one hand, it is crucial that you manage the project schedule, chair meetings with the project team, and ensure that all team members carry out their tasks properly. On the other hand, you assist in coordinating meetings and presentations, draft the policy plan for “Responsible Behavior,” establish guidelines to support various departments, and work to ensure that points of contact remain accessible to members regarding inappropriate behavior. You will always do all of this in consultation with the key partners in the area of “Responsible Behavior.” You will also collaborate with the portfolio holder from the party executive committee.
Terms of employment are in accordance with the PvdA and Affiliated Institutions Collective Bargaining Agreement (CAO), including a 35-hour workweek, 25 days of paid vacation, reimbursement for travel and phone expenses, and a year-end bonus of €2,000 gross. Appointments are initially for one year, with the possibility of a permanent position.
This position is classified in Grade 5 of the PvdA salary scale. The gross monthly salary for a 35-hour workweek ranges from a minimum of €2,872.51 to a maximum of €3,618.02 (excluding vacation pay and year-end bonus), depending on knowledge and experience.
For more information about the position, please contact Remco Dolstra, interim director of the party office, at rdolstra@pvda.nl. Please send your cover letter and resume to vacature@pvda.nl
The PvdA encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds—in the broadest sense of the term—to apply for this position, even if they do not fully meet all the criteria listed in the job description.
