Project Coordinator for Scouting & Talent Management

The responsibilities of the Scouting & Talent Management Project Coordinator are:

• You will take the lead in establishing new regional scouting committees and actively support the existing ones. You will facilitate work sessions and coach committee members.
• The national scouting committee is counting on your active support, including the management of the scouting database.
• Under your leadership, the annual PvdA coaching program will undergo a fresh overhaul and be streamlined.
• You value diversity, equity, and inclusion in our scouting and talent development efforts and act accordingly.
• Together with the Center for Local Governance, our sister organization, you will organize development opportunities for young PvdA politicians.

Profile

As a candidate, you bring a strong set of skills to lead and strengthen our talent organization. You are creative in your search for new talent, and for that talent, you are an inspiring coach and a reliable supporter. Do you meet the following requirements:

• You have 3–5 years of professional experience, preferably in setting up and executing recruitment and talent scouting processes, as well as experience with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Learning & Development, and/or program management.
• You are able to translate strategic goals into concrete project plans and execute these plans with determination and precision, from concept to completion.
• You have extensive experience working within complex, multidisciplinary organizations and know how to operate effectively within them.
• You see our 40,000 members as a source of talent, and you have a clear vision for building lasting relationships.
• Managing and coaching volunteers across the country energizes you, as does designing and leading workshops.
• You share the values of the PvdA.
• You are willing to work evenings and weekends when necessary.

What do we offer you?

Terms of employment are in accordance with the PvdA and Affiliated Institutions Collective Bargaining Agreement (CAO), including a 35-hour workweek, 25 days of paid vacation, reimbursement for travel and phone expenses, and a year-end bonus of €2,000 gross. Appointments are initially for one year, with the possibility of a permanent position.

This position is classified in Grade 8 of the PvdA salary scale. The gross monthly salary for a 35-hour workweek ranges from a minimum of €3,653.19 to a maximum of €4,834.49 (excluding vacation pay and year-end bonus), depending on knowledge and experience.
