Program Secretary, Ontwikkelkracht
Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science
Job Description
Would you like to help improve the quality of education in a sustainable way? At Ontwikkelkracht, we tackle this using a learning-based approach. A coalition of teachers and researchers offers schools tools, courses, and co-creation labs to improve education together. Key words here are co-creation, a learning approach, and evidence-informed. Does the idea of facilitating this as a program secretary appeal to you? Then you are the person we are looking for.
Ontwikkelkracht's approach consists of four main activities:
The program is implemented as a cohesive whole, with the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. This is achieved by incorporating effective approaches (such as language instruction) into the improvement initiatives and into guidelines for all schools. Ultimately, this will benefit all students and teachers.
What do we expect from you?
As program secretary, you will provide both procedural and substantive support for the Development Capacity Program.
As the central point of contact, you will assist the program manager in maintaining coordination between the various components of the program. You will monitor the progress of agreed-upon actions, keep track of ongoing cases, and assist with the preparation and reporting of meetings.
You won’t be doing this alone. You’ll be working closely with the other parties involved in Ontwikkelkracht. You’ll be part of the program office currently being established and will maintain good working relationships with colleagues in the relevant policy directorates.
