As a program developer, you know better than anyone how to engage CODA’s diverse audiences. You create challenging, thought-provoking programming, and you value experimentation and adventure just as much as offering depth and helping participants gain skills and knowledge. You have an eye for programming that transcends disciplines, you thrive on working in a team, and you’re more than happy to take on the task of organizing and implementing programs.
As part of CODA’s mission, you will work on developing, implementing, and advising on various programs. You will be responsible for the entire process—from concept to implementation—in collaboration with volunteers, community partners, and colleagues. You will do this for CODA Library, Museum, and Archives, as well as through collaborative projects with the CODA ExperienceLab team.
You will be responsible for creating engaging activities and events at CODA, with partners, in public spaces, and online. The program appeals to a broad audience across different age groups and with diverse interests. Your responsibilities will include developing CODA-wide educational activities, heritage and cultural programming, workshops for all ages, and creative afternoons for children. You will also create programs for our branches in Dok Zuid and De Maten. In collaboration with the PR team, you will develop online activities, ranging from podcasts to short documentaries and design challenges. Activities may be a regular part of CODA’s program offerings, or they may be one-off events or tie in with a partner project or national campaign. You will also be responsible for the creative development of seasonal programming, including activities for various holiday periods. You will connect visitors, partners, and the various teams at CODA, and you have a relevant network that can contribute to the development of the program.
As a program producer, you are decisive and have strong organizational skills. You are flexible and adapt easily to different meeting structures, teams, and colleagues.
