Producer / Video Coordinator

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Serve as the central point of contact for (final) editing and production, staying up to date on the technical aspects of the live broadcast of Nieuwsuur;
• Maintaining contacts for the purpose of online productions;
• Applying for and processing video and audio licenses, and ensuring that the requested material is delivered to the correct destination;
• Set up connections for conference calls (Zoom, LiveU, etc.);
• Ensure that all video, audio, and subtitles are properly included in the broadcast;
• Preparing videos for various online channels (website/social media);
• Short clips, such as headlines and intro sequences;
• Handling the administrative, logistical, financial, and contractual aspects of all production activities;
• Ensuring proper handoffs;
• Working with different systems/software.

• Proficient in language and communication, with a keen sense of where information needs to go and when;
• Experience with scheduling systems for scheduling daily shifts and work assignments (in real time);
• Skilled at booking business trips;
• Eager to handle ad hoc tasks and last-minute changes;
• A clear mind that can distinguish between what is important and what is not;
• Willing and available to work on weekends and/or in the evenings;
• Able to acquire knowledge of various (production/editorial) systems;
• Familiar with the technical aspects of recording and sending the footage;
• Ideally, you should be familiar with Avid editing software.

Here's what we offer:

A one-year contract, with the possibility of extension. Depending on knowledge and experience, this position is compensated within salary grade G (€3,118.48 – €4,757.41) of the broadcasting collective bargaining agreement.
