
Under the roof of the always bustling TivoliVredenburg, all genres of music come together. You won’t find that anywhere else. In addition to numerous concerts, we host festivals, educational and discussion programs, and corporate events, as well as live streams, podcasts, blogs, and radio. With a view of Utrecht’s Singel, you can also relax in our café Het Gegeven Paard and kitchen bar Danel. Our audience ranges from two to ninety years old. A lifetime of music for everyone!
The production team is responsible for all logistics and technical coordination for every event at TivoliVredenburg. This includes everything from booking hotel rooms to arranging backstage catering, from scheduling technicians and technical equipment to coordinating with other productions, and so on. Externally, we have frequent contact with bookers, talent agencies, tour managers, musicians, and others, and internally with the programming, food and beverage/hospitality, theater technology, marketing, and facilities departments. Production preparation involves close collaboration with technicians and stage managers. Our work hours are flexible and may cover the entire week, including evenings and weekends.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a producer for our Global program (32–38 hours). As a producer, you will work closely with the programmer and oversee the production from start to finish. You will collaborate with the artist on the production’s execution and translate this into practical steps on the ground. You will coordinate with other productions in the building. On the day of the performance, you will regularly take on the role of stage manager. As stage manager, you will work with your colleagues to ensure the production runs smoothly on the night of the performance. You will provide operational leadership and serve as a welcoming point of contact for all parties involved.
