Work on development projects that affect many of your colleagues. For no fewer than two ministries, where the most pressing issues of our time are at stake. You’ll have this exciting opportunity as an organizational consultant at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy (EZK) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV). A job with impact: you ensure that your colleagues can achieve the best results in their work and thus respond optimally to the major challenges facing our country.
It’s happening at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy (EZK) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV); this is where the exciting challenges are waiting to be seized. Together, we face major societal challenges that we can only tackle by being innovative. You’ll play a pioneering role in the important organizational developments ahead. The focus is on assignments for the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy (EZK), but you may also work on projects for the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV). This makes your work particularly varied, in addition to the diverse HR topics you’ll encounter, ranging from organizational and team development to workload management and organizational structuring.
Your role often involves current and important issues arising from, for example, a decision by the House of Representatives or the major public policy priorities assigned to the ministries. You will be responsible for one or more accounts: specific organizational units for which you will work, alongside HR and sometimes other organizational consultants from the Advisory team. You will also be involved in organization-wide development programs through which we give concrete shape to changes and improvements, such as promoting task-oriented work or guiding a reorganization. There is no shortage of variety in your job. One moment you’re involved in setting up a brand-new program directorate, drafting documents on structural adjustments and guiding employees in collaboration and proper role fulfillment. The next, you’re leading a team session on the results of an employee survey or on work pressure. Or you’re researching the best way of working for a specific organizational unit. The Executive Board of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy (EZK) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV), as well as department heads, managers, and directors-general, also rely on your (strategic) advice on a wide range of organizational issues. In short, with us you’ll have a broad, varied, and responsible role. Will you join us to strengthen our organization?
Managing major organizational changes from start to finish—leave that to you! You have a clear vision of the HR field, strong analytical skills, and a keen sense of what’s happening within the organization. You’re not afraid to bring issues to the table and think outside the box, leading to creative and innovative solutions to challenges. You’re also skilled at building and maintaining a network and enjoy engaging people in organizational developments during sessions. Thanks to your flexible approach, you can hold your own in a rapidly changing environment, yet you’re also confident in making decisions at the right moment. Additionally, you have:

In addition to your salary, you will receive an Individual Choice Budget (ICB). The ICB consists of money (16.37% of your gross annual salary) and time. With the ICB, you can make choices that suit you and customize part of your employment benefits. For example, you can choose to have a portion of your monthly income paid out whenever you wish. You can also convert this budget into leave and vice versa, or spend it on tax-friendly purposes. The Dutch government is strongly committed to personal growth and career development and offers numerous opportunities for this.
