Would you like to help make a difference in society?

Come work at the Goldschmeding Foundation.

Our team of 14 employees works partly in the office and partly from home. We organize four events a year for our project partners and our network. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Office Assistant who can ensure that everything runs smoothly.

About the foundation

The Goldschmeding Foundation is a philanthropic fund established by Frits Goldschmeding, who is also the founder of the Randstad Group. The foundation is committed to bringing about lasting change in the way people work and collaborate, based on the belief that we all benefit when we look out for one another.

Drawing on its expertise, donations, and network, the Goldschmeding Foundation supports promising initiatives that demonstrate, through tangible results, how things can be done differently. Together, we work toward lasting change to create an inclusive labor market, sustainable employment, and an economy that respects human dignity.

You’ll work closely with the Personal Assistant to the Board Chair, and you’ll cover for each other during vacations. In addition, you’ll be responsible for all operational matters related to organizing our events, from finding venues to creating the schedule for the day itself.

Job Description

  • Maintain contact with the landlord, the IT help desk, external suppliers, and service providers;
  • Operational organization of events;
  • Managing the customer database;
  • Emergency response team.

Skills and Experience

  • Basic knowledge of and ability to use MS Office and MS Teams;
  • Practical, with a talent for organization;
  • Proactive, ability to improvise;
  • A service-oriented organization with a broad perspective;
  • Experience in event planning;
  • Experience with similar tasks in a professional work environment.

Offer

The Goldschmeding Foundation offers competitive terms of employment. The Office Assistant’s salary ranges from €2,912 to €3,641 (gross, based on a 40-hour workweek) and depends on age and experience. We offer a varied role in a social, dynamic environment. In addition, we provide everyone with an Individual Choice Budget and promote the principle of lifelong learning through a study budget.

Procedure

The Foundation is an inclusive organization; it doesn’t matter to us where you were born, what you believe in, or who you love. We’re curious about your talents, what makes you special, and how we can work together to contribute to your success and development—and that of the Foundation.

Are you interested in this position? If so, we’d love to meet you. Please send your resume and cover letterby October 31to Pauline Niels via email atpniels@goldschmeding.foundation.
