The Beweegalliantie (based in Utrecht) is looking for a passionate network advisor. By 2040, 75 percent of the Dutch population should be meeting the physical activity guidelines. To achieve this, the Physical Activity Alliance was established, an initiative of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. The Exercise Alliance is a network organization that believes exercise is just as normal as sleeping, brushing your teeth, and using your cell phone. We remove barriers that stand in the way of exercise and encourage innovative exercise initiatives so that more Dutch people will exercise more. Every day. In the pilot phase, more than 140 organizations have already joined the Exercise Alliance, and that number continues to grow.
The Beweegalliantie team is expanding. As a network advisor, you will be the driving force behind the Beweegalliantie. You will conduct consultations, activate human networks, and identify new partners for collaboration with the Beweegalliantie. Together with partners in the field, you will proactively explore and capitalize on opportunities for collaboration. The connections with the various organizations already affiliated with the Beweegalliantie require attention. It is important that you have an up-to-date understanding of the needs of people and organizations. You are well-informed about relevant developments in the field, where identifying and recognizing obstacles is crucial. You are also aware of relevant policy developments.
In addition to connecting people and organizations, activities and outcomes related to knowledge sharing are important; this can be achieved, for example, through specific publications, tools, or meetings. Of course, you will always collaborate on this with colleagues from the Beweegalliantie team as well as with partners. The Beweegalliantie works across various settings, such as education, the living environment, and the workplace. An important part of the role is establishing and maintaining balance within a setting (thematic consultation) with the right mix of partners. Initiating circles and promoting and monitoring the progress of various initiatives are also key responsibilities. The framework of the Beweegalliantie, as agreed upon with the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport and implemented by Sardes - CAOP Foundation, serves as a guiding principle. All efforts are focused on getting more people in the Netherlands to be more active!
