With your curiosity, you bring energy to a results-oriented collaboration in educational logistics. You help organize and optimize our educational operations. You contribute ideas, offer advice, and tailor our services to the needs of the educational sector. Articulating expectations and providing feedback come naturally to you. Do you recognize yourself in this description? Then we’d love for you to join our team!
In the coming years, the Faculty of Engineering will focus on educational reform. This reform will be developed and implemented across all degree programs. Existing responsibilities will shift, current practices will be adapted, and new responsibilities will be added.
With your knowledge of educational logistics, you will be responsible for the following areas:
You have a vocational or college-level education and work experience in a dynamic environment. You have experience with process optimization, and working toward the desired outcome comes naturally to you.
You enjoy working with others. Keeping each other on our toes by providing feedback comes naturally to you. You’re open to new ideas and actively contribute them yourself. To ensure smooth collaboration among the various parties, it’s important that you listen closely to your clients and tailor your services to the needs of the education sector. Because things change frequently, you quickly absorb new knowledge and apply it directly to your work. It’s okay to make mistakes, but it’s important that you learn from your experiences.
Many of these activities involve peak periods between April and September. You are able to handle periods of high workload and are available to work during the summer.
You’ll be working at the Education Office, a dynamic workplace on the Amstel Campus where people are coming and going all day long—both in person and online. With such a diverse group of people and a wide range of questions, you’ll never get bored!

Diversity and Inclusion
The AUAS aims to be an organization where everyone feels welcome, valued, and at home. As an employer, we believe that the more inclusive we are, the better we can perform as a knowledge institution of and for the city. The Faculty of Technology has a student community that is diverse due to cultural, socioeconomic, and personal differences. We therefore strive to see the diversity of backgrounds and perspectives that Amsterdam has to offer reflected in our university’s workforce.
