
The party office is the beating heart of the party, serving as the bridge between members and politics. It is here that democracy within the party thrives and the organization’s behind-the-scenes work is carried out. Staff at the party office provide practical and political-strategic support to the organization and play a vital role during campaigns.
You will be part of a small, highly motivated team that works every day to support our organization of more than forty thousand members. The team is responsible for strengthening the party in the broadest sense of the word so that the PvdA can have as much social impact as possible. This means, among other things, motivating and helping members to become socially and politically active, guiding local chapters and volunteers, and working to ensure effective collaboration with GroenLinks.
Your role as a Strategy and Implementation Specialist at is incredibly diverse. As the central hub of the organization, one day you’ll be brainstorming with a colleague about training and education, and the next day you’ll be working with local departments to develop concrete plans to increase social impact. In the evening, you’ll visit a department yourself to ensure that a national project is successfully implemented within the association.
We are looking for someone who can serve as a bridge between the long-term strategy for strengthening the association and its implementation. You actively contribute ideas regarding policy and can then implement these in a practical way within the party. You connect easily with others and can engage in dialogue with different groups that have diverse interests, knowledge, and motivations.
Terms of employment are in accordance with the PvdA and Affiliated Institutions Collective Bargaining Agreement (CAO), including a 35-hour workweek, 25 days of paid vacation, reimbursement for travel and phone expenses, and a year-end bonus of €2,000 gross. Appointments are initially for one year, with the possibility of a permanent position.
The gross salary for a 35-hour workweek ranges from a minimum of €3,500 to a maximum of €4,800 per month (excluding vacation pay and year-end bonus), depending on knowledge and experience
