CE Delft is an independent research and consulting firm that has been addressing sustainability issues for over 45 years. We do this because we want to contribute to a better society. CE Delft employs more than 80 researchers, who are supported by a professional and friendly administrative team.

Since our workload is increasing and we want to continue doing a good job, we are looking for a Secretarial Assistant / Project Support Specialist.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • ensuring consistent and high-quality documents, editing texts (in English and Dutch), and verifying compliance with the corporate style guidelines;
  • processing incoming information, quickly identifying connections, asking follow-up questions, and (where possible) handling matters independently and/or preparing the necessary actions;
  • handling internal and external correspondence and assessing it for relevance and priority;
  • performing support tasks such as scheduling regular meetings, scheduling interviews, arranging travel, planning and organizing meetings and workshops, etc.
  • handling various administrative (HR) tasks.

What do you bring to the table?

  • You have completed a secretarial/administrative program at the MBO+ level;
  • You have excellent typing skills and are proficient in Office, particularly Word;
  • You have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
  • You have strong communication skills and are eager to learn;
  • You can easily switch between different tasks, set priorities effectively, and keep a cool head;
  • You enjoy working as part of a team, but you’re also capable of working independently;
  • Experience in graphic design is a plus.

What will you be doing?

You ensure that our colleagues can perform their work to the best of their ability. You are enthusiastic, proactive, enjoy a varied role, and like to contribute ideas. You edit all documents and format them according to our corporate identity. Managing a complex schedule, receiving clients, and answering the phone are also part of your responsibilities. You may also be asked to assist with graphic design, PR support, HR administration, organizing mailings or workshops, or facility-related tasks.

What do we offer?

A varied role offering a high degree of autonomy within a team of five friendly, professional, and enthusiastic colleagues. In addition, CE Delft offers an informal, non-hierarchical work environment and a competitive benefits package, including flexible use of holidays, part-time work options, free lunch, and the option to work (partly) from home.
