A conductor leads an orchestra of string players and other musicians during a classical music performance on stage.

Interested in a job with the North Netherlands Orchestra? Would you like to manage the payroll for the premier symphony orchestra of Drenthe, Friesland, and Groningen? If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, this is your chance—you might just be the colleague we’re looking for!

The Noord Nederlands Orkest (NNO) is a versatile symphony orchestra. We present over 60 programs each year and give 130 concerts for more than 100,000 attendees.

As a symphony orchestra, our goal is to bring everyone into contact with classical music. It doesn’t matter to us what style of music resonates with you, who you love, or where you were born. We are looking for a wonderful colleague who will strengthen our team with his or her unique qualities.

The organization consists of 70 permanent orchestra members, and 24 colleagues work in the office. The work includes:

  • collecting, verifying, and processing payroll data in the ADP payroll system;
  • making corrections after reviewing the test runs and ensuring that salaries and benefits are paid;
  • maintaining pension records and preparing pension returns;
  • contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of relevant administrative processes;
  • ensuring the (digital) archiving of documents relevant to payroll administration;
  • ensuring that payroll records are properly reconciled with the financial records;
  • the management of the NNO's insurance portfolio;
  • maintaining external contacts with pension insurers, health insurers, and payroll administrators at other orchestras.

Who are you?
