Who are you?
With your attention to detail and service-oriented attitude, you ensure that HR administration is handled with the utmost precision. As a key member of the HR and Payroll Administration (PSA) team, you process personnel changes carefully and in a timely manner and maintain an overview of ongoing processes. You answer questions in an approachable manner, communicate clearly, and tackle issues proactively.
What do you bring to the table?
You have strong administrative skills, excellent communication skills, and are highly organized. Thanks to your ability to set priorities, you can easily keep track of everything, even when things get busy. You have a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably with a degree in Human Resources (HR) or a similar administrative field.
You have strong digital skills and are comfortable working with MS Office and HR systems. You are a team player, meticulous, and committed to quality and ensuring that processes run smoothly.
What will you be doing?
- Accurately processing personnel changes in our HR tool, HR2day, in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement for higher professional education (CBA-HBO) and internal policies
- Maintaining personnel records and employee files from the first day of employment until an employee’s departure
- Drafting employment contracts, employer statements, and employee letters in accordance with applicable guidelines
- Ensuring the prompt and thorough handling of inquiries regarding, among other things, employment terms and conditions, internal procedures, leave, and absenteeism
- Collaborating with payroll administrators and HR consultants in addressing payroll and collective bargaining agreement issues
- Contribute to improvements in work processes and the enhancement of PSA services.

Where will you be working?
The PSA team is part of the HR department and consists of a personnel administration officer, two payroll specialists, and a PSA team leader. Together, we form a close-knit and dedicated team focused on collaboration, quality, and professional development. We handle HR and payroll administration for 1,100 employees and contribute to reliable and accessible HR services. We also address organization-wide issues related to social security, pensions, the collective bargaining agreement for higher professional education (HBO), and laws and regulations.
What we offer
You’ll be working in an inspiring environment, right in the bustling heart of Amsterdam. You’ll start with a one-year contract, with the intention of extending it thereafter. The position is classified in pay grade 7 with a maximum of €3,890.41 gross per month for full-time employment. You can count on attractive employment conditions, such as an 8.3% year-end bonus, a solid pension plan, 428 hours of paid leave for full-time employment, travel allowance, and opportunities for education and professional development. Hybrid work is a given for us; we combine being in the office with working from home in a way that suits you and the team.
