About Het Concertgebouw

As a Customer Service and Sales Representative, you serve as the link between the Concertgebouw and concertgoers. With your warm and welcoming demeanor, you ensure that everyone feels welcome: from young to old, from regulars to first-time visitors, and from classical music lovers to jazz fans.

Who are you?

· You are customer- and service-oriented and enjoy finding answers to all of our visitors’ questions;

· You work with the utmost precision and ensure that the books balance;

· You are flexible regarding your work hours and can step in when needed;

· You therefore live in Amsterdam or the immediate vicinity;

· You are able to communicate with concertgoers in English;

· You have an interest in all kinds of music.

What will you be doing?

· You sell concert tickets, offer advice, and answer questions;

· You will assist visitors over the phone and at the ticket counter;

· You will work according to a flexible schedule spread over 7 days a week, 365 days a year;

· You will work on an on-call basis for approximately 12–20 hours per week;

· The majority of the work hours are on the weekend;

· The average number of hours per week is between 12 and 20;

· Working hours are between 9:45 a.m. and 8:45 p.m.

What does your team look like?

You’ll be joining a diverse and friendly team of 16 people of all ages. The team is led by a coordinator and an assistant coordinator.

· A gross hourly wage starting at €13.90 (€17.37 on weekends);

· The free ticket program for employees;

· A bicycle plan up to €749, including VAT;

· The opportunity to attend the weekly yoga class.
