As a Customer Service and Sales Representative, you serve as the link between the Concertgebouw and its visitors. You have a naturally customer-focused attitude, ensuring that concertgoers receive prompt and accurate answers to all their questions.
The Customer Service and Sales Department is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You will work a flexible schedule with an emphasis on weekend shifts. You will assist a wide variety of visitors, sell tickets, provide advice on the best seats, and so on. Visitors to the Concertgebouw are very diverse: there are many regular customers, but you will also interact with new visitors, including many international visitors.
Communication takes place by phone, email, and at the register.
You will be part of a very diverse team consisting of 17 dedicated colleagues of all ages. The team is led by a coordinator and an assistant coordinator.
· You are highly customer-focused and service-oriented;
· You enjoy knowing the answer to every question or being able to look it up;
· You enjoy going to the occasional concert (through the employee benefit program) to listen to classical music, pop, or jazz;
· You work with the utmost precision and ensure that the books balance;
· You are flexible regarding your work hours and can step in when needed, because the same applies to the Customer Contact and Sales department: “the show must go on”;
· You have completed at least a vocational education program (MBO);
· You are able to communicate with customers in English;
· You live in Amsterdam or the immediate vicinity.
