
The Amsterdam Resistance Museum is a vibrant museum thanks to the dedicated efforts of its 15 part-time paid staff members (approximately 10 full-time equivalents) and over 100 volunteers. In 2022, the museum underwent renovations and updated its permanent exhibition. The renovated museum reopened on December 1.
In 2020, the museum created a new position to reach a more diverse audience, which led to the launch of the “The Round Table Talk” series of events. The position was temporarily left unfilled during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the museum has reopened, it is seeking a Junior Staff Member for this role. This person will:
We are offering a position for 30.4 hours per week, with pay in accordance with the City of Amsterdam’s pay scale, level 6. Starting pay ranges from a minimum of €2,010 (level 6.0) to a maximum of €2,468 (level 6.5) for a full-time position of 38 hours per week. The appointment is for a period of one year, with the possibility of a permanent position thereafter.
