Are you an organized, dedicated, and creative multitasker who loves an inspiring educational environment full of creators and storytellers? Then we’re looking for you!
Where will you be working?
At the HKU Media Academy, we train visual artists who want to make a meaningful impact on people and society. We distinguish ourselves from other institutions by placing a strong emphasis on our students’ ability to think critically and on the use of creative technology—both analog and digital—within our educational programs.
With approximately 900 students, we are the largest academy within HKU, offering six bachelor’s programs: Animation, Film, Graphic Design, Illustration, Image & Media Technology, and Photography, as well as the two-year Associate Degree in Digital Media.
With over 4,300 students, the Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU) is the largest arts university in the Netherlands and, as such, one of Europe’s largest knowledge institutions focused on the arts, culture, the creative industries, and arts education. HKU offers a wide range of programs across nine academies, which are located at various sites throughout the city.
HKU is at the heart of society and is shaping the future. We are rooted in Utrecht and operate nationally and internationally. HKU’s ambition is “to offer and organize excellent arts education and arts research that has meaning and impact on people and society.” As HKU, we are at the heart of that society and strive to be as diverse and inclusive as possible. Our success depends entirely on the quality of our people and the ideas they bring. That is why we are curious about your talent and how you can make a difference for our organization.
