Höcker is an independent, truly Amsterdam-based law firm that provides legal services of the very highest caliber. It is a commercial law firm, but quality comes first—as do the people, both clients and employees. There is also plenty of room for matters of public interest.

The firm has grown and is looking to strengthen its operational leadership. That is why we are seeking an office director: a member of the board, with an independent mandate, who will make the organization modern and agile. You’ll leave the legal practice to the attorneys; your focus will be on everything else.

Who we're looking for

You are an experienced manager, comfortable in a professional, knowledge-intensive environment; experience in the legal field is a plus. You understand that professionals value their autonomy and dislike bureaucracy, and you lead with authority without being overbearing. You think clearly and, more importantly, you actually get things done.

What we offer

A versatile management position (0.8–1.0 FTE) in the heart of Amsterdam, at a firm with character. The terms of employment are commensurate with the responsibilities of the role; I would be happy to discuss them confidentially.
