As a Junior Programmer at the Concertgebouw, you’ll be working at one of the most beautiful concert halls in the world, in a place where there’s something new to experience every day.
Drawing on your knowledge of and passion for classical music, you will be part of a dynamic and creative team dedicated to delivering the sublime concert experience that the Concertgebouw aims to offer its audience.
You will be working in the Programming, Education, and Participation department. This department programs and schedules all concerts for the Concertgebouw’s in-house programming. This includes concert series and individual concerts in the Main Hall, Small Hall, and Choir Hall. The Assistant Programmer will focus primarily on young talent.
You have a deep passion for classical music and have received higher education in this field at a conservatory or through a musicology program. You have a solid knowledge of the repertoire and performers in the classical music world. You are able to assist in the development of concerts and have some knowledge of marketing and production.

As a Junior Programmer, you will work alongside the staff of the Programming, Education, and Participation Department and be responsible, among other things, for curating our Young Talent series, “Hemelbestormers,” which features concerts across three different series, including related programming such as presentations, interviews, and introductions.
