Impact Investment Intern (40 hours; 4–6 months; starting in February 2026)
DOEN Participaties is the investment fund of the DOEN Foundation, made possible by the National Postcode Lottery and the Friends Lottery. For nearly 30 years, we have been investing in innovative, early-stage startups that contribute to a fair, green, and creative society. Our focus is on systemic change and the transition to a regenerative economy.
With a portfolio of nearly 70 companies and funds, including pioneers such as Fairphone, Oscar Circulair, andPeelPioneers, and more than €140 million invested in startups and funds, we are one of the largest impact investors in the Netherlands.

As an intern, you’ll be a full member of the DOEN Participations team, which consists of experienced investment professionals (meet the team here). You’ll have the opportunity to learn about impact investing, impact entrepreneurship, and systemic change, and you’ll make an immediate contribution.
As an impact investment intern at DOEN Participaties, you’ll be involved in a wide range of tasks. These include :

The internship is for 40 hours per week, lasts 4 to 6 months, and will be based at the DOEN Participaties in Amsterdam.
