More about this organization
Two women are talking at a table in a modern office; one of them is gesturing animatedly during the discussion.

With your expertise in HR, you’ll help build strong, forward-thinking libraries in the region. You’lldevelop policies that help organizations grow, provide confident advice to managers, and translate strategy into practical solutions. In this multifaceted role, you’ll make an impact on both people and the organization, ensuring that HR makes a tangible difference.

What will you be doing?

As an HR Business Partner, you will work with external clients. You serve as the link that translates HR policy into results-oriented solutions. Your responsibilities are diverse and challenging:

  • Advising and supporting managers and our clients on topics such as absenteeism, employment law, talent development, and organizational change.
  • Developing and implementing HR policies aligned with the client’s strategic goals.
  • Strategic HR consulting, such as developing strategic workforce plans and facilitating change initiatives.
  • Project management focused on current HR topics such as inclusive leadership, labor law, HR analytics, good employment practices, and diversity, inclusion, and equity.
  • Analyzing HR data

You’ll work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Whether you’re supporting management as a business partner or handling an external consulting request, your expertise makes all the difference.

Who are you?

You are a professional partner who provides independent and critical advice. You back up your recommendations with incisive data analyses and effortlessly identify cause-and-effect relationships. This allows you to match appropriate HR interventions to the client’s specific challenges. With your client-focused approach, you always strive to deliver the best possible service. Your proactive mindset enables you to effectively switch between strategic issues and practical implementation.

In addition:

  • Do you take a solution-oriented approach: you think ahead and translate complex issues into actionable solutions.
  • You communicate effectively: you are able to provide clear and persuasive advice at all levels.
  • You have a keen analytical mind: you quickly grasp situations and make well-reasoned decisions.
  • Build connections: you’ll foster lasting partnerships both within and outside the organization.

What are you bringing?

  • A college or university level of work and thinking, with a relevant degree (HRM, Business Administration, or similar).
  • Experience in a similar consulting role, preferably with experience in analyzing HR data as well.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR issues, current laws and regulations, and strategic workforce planning.
  • A driver's license and a willingness to travel regularly within the region.

What does Rijnbrink have to offer you?

Rijnbrink offers you the opportunity to make a social impact in a casual, collaborative environment that values individuality and allows you to shape your role in your own way. Our hybrid workplace gives you the flexibility to work from home, at a client’s site, or at our office in Deventer. You’ll work in an environment that fosters innovation and growth, where your vision and ideas are valued. Together, we make a difference!

You'll receive:

  • a salary between €4,085 and €6,218 gross per month in pay scale 10/11 of the collective bargaining agreement for public libraries (job group: Development Advisor III/II). Your starting salary will depend on your knowledge and experience;
  • Vacation days: You are entitled to 180 hours of vacation time per year based on a 36-hour workweek;
  • a year-end bonus of 5% and vacation pay of 8% of the gross annual salary;
  • travel allowance and free public transportation for business purposes;
  • the option to purchase leave hours and/or use (excess) leave hours toward other benefits;
  • a fixed-term contract. If both parties are satisfied, your contract will be converted to a permanent position;
  • free access to over 120 online courses from GoodHabitz;
  • access to our work café, where you can meet your colleagues and make your own barista-style coffee (or tea). And where you can enjoy a delicious, fresh lunch from our caterer, Bora;
  • the option to work remotely. This means that your role determines where you work—whether from home, at the office, or at another location;
  • a laptop and a smartphone;
  • a free library card.

About Rijnbrink

Rijnbrink believes it is important for everyone to have the opportunity to grow. Young and old—throughout their lives. So that as many people as possible can participate and shape themselves and our society. Libraries, cultural institutions, schools, and music associations play a vital role in this lifelong development. Because that is where everyone gains access to what makes us human: our language, digital skills, literature, culture, and music.

From our beautiful office in Deventer, we work with and for library organizations, cultural institutions, schools, and music associations. We help them succeed in their social missions, make a difference, and remain future-proof. Together, we develop innovative solutions, services, and programs. In addition, our partners can hire Rijnbrink’s expertise and purchase services from us. In this way, we are building a culturally and organizationally strong, future-proof cultural sector—and a smart, skilled, and creative Gelderland and Overijssel.
