The position 

As a go-to-market specialist, you’re responsible for media placement and managing relationships with media partners. Whether it’s paid or earned media, online or offline, part of an ongoing strategy or a campaign—you handle it all with ease.

Working with a team, you will implement, promote, and manage the go-to-market strategy, while advising the internal organization to ensure maximum impact. As a go-to-market specialist, you will coordinate internal channel specialists (social media, social ads, digital ads, etc.), external media partners, and media buying to ensure that the public experiences our brand on a daily basis and to support campaigns in achieving maximum reach.

You serve as the link between the business, channel experts, media partners, and media budgets. No two days are the same in your role; every day, you tackle a variety of challenges using an Agile/Scrum methodology.

As a Go-to-Market Specialist, you will report directly to the Head of Digital & Data.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve maximum reach and create unique opportunities, knowing that we are an NGO;
  • Together with the team, you will develop the go-to-market strategy for the brand, campaigns, and always-on initiatives;
  • Increase the visibility of the WWF Netherlands brand;
  • Campaign support in the GTM plan;
  • Managing, monitoring, and strategically utilizing media channels;
  • Optimizing the media mix and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of media budget allocation;
  • Focusing on conversions and improving channel goals;
  • Provide advice on the optimal allocation of budgets for paid channels;
  • Developing advertising content in collaboration with the creative team;
  • Media Partner Relationship Management.

Who are you?

  • You’re a relationship-oriented thinker who knows what motivates your target audiences.
  • A performance-driven go-to-market specialist with up-to-date expertise in outdoor, TV, radio, social media, display, programmatic buying campaigns, free publicity, and all forms of offline content marketing.
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in managing integrated campaigns.
  • You and your team are well-versed in analytics and optimization tools. You can set up a campaign on Facebook or LinkedIn, for example, in no time.
  • Excellent verbal and written proficiency in Dutch; proficiency in English is a plus.

Who are we?

The Engagement department primarily uses Dutch. This department is responsible for engaging various target groups in the Netherlands in our mission. Engagement operates using an agile approach with 4 chapters and 7 squads; multidisciplinary, self-organizing teams with their own responsibilities. To strengthen the Digital & Data chapter within the Engagement department, we are seeking a Go To Market Specialist.

  • A competitive salary based on the Dutch nonprofit sector; the minimum gross monthly salary for the position is 3,154 EUR, and the maximum monthly salary is 4,112 EUR, depending on relevant experience (and based on a 40-hour workweek) (due to the maximum salary, we are unable to sponsor a residence permit for highly skilled migrants for individuals over the age of 30);
  • Employees also receive a personal budget, consisting of 8% vacation pay and 2.08% flexible budget, and are entitled to 6 weeks of leave per year (based on a 40-hour workweek);
  • We encourage flexible work arrangements and the use of public transportation and bicycles for commuting and business travel. Commuting expenses are reimbursed based on second-class public transportation fares (NS Business Card).
