Fair Future Generators is looking for young people who want to make the world a better place!
Fair Future Generators gives young people from all backgrounds the chance to make the world—and themselves—a little better. In a way that suits you. In a food forest, at a fun office, or at a sustainable event.
We’ll coach you for four months as you develop your skills and talents. You’ll become part of Milieudefensie’s Fair Future Generators network and join other participants at fun meetups. Plus, you’ll learn all about climate justice. So you don’t need any prior knowledge or experience. Are you between the ages of 18 and 30 and do you live in the Netherlands?
Here are the opportunities Fair Future Generators offers you:
- a cool climate project in your own neighborhood or a region of your choice; (>1 day per week);
- 1 inspiring training weekend in nature, followed by 1 final training day (free of charge—in fact, travel expenses are covered);
- workshops on climate justice, inclusivity, activism, organizing, project planning, and more;
- working together as a team;
- (online) inspiration evenings & meetups;
- a green network throughout the Netherlands;
- guidance from experts and a personal coach;
- worth €2,800!
Once you fill out the registration form, we’ll contact you to discuss what you’d like to learn and develop. We’ll then match you with a climate project in your area, where you’ll work one day a week.
For example, you will:
- manage the Fair Future Generators website and all social media accounts;
- creating a city garden;
- campaign against fast fashion;
- support sustainable festivals;
- involving young people in sustainable energy projects;
- or other relevant work experience that looks good on your resume.
