Are you the director who can help us improve the quality of our care and help develop our organization? Do you feel right at home in the dynamic world of healthcare?

Through strength-based and servant leadership, you will help ensure the well-being of our clients and inspire employees to contribute to the organization’s growth. You will actively engage with clients and employees. You are approachable, value client participation, listen to their needs, and know how to respond to them.

Will you help shape our care so that more people can find a home?

Home. The place where someone lives, which can take many forms. Where you feel safe and at ease. Everyone deserves a place like that—in their living space and in society. Because a home provides people with the foundation for building their future and participating in society. This is essential for recovery and for taking control of your life through your own strength—with or without ongoing support from us. That is what we stand for at HVO-Querido, and that is where we feel at home.

As Director of Care, you play an essential role in this regard, working alongside team managers. Together with team managers, you translate strategic organizational goals and policy initiatives into concrete actions within your own organizational unit. In doing so, you support the team managers in their role of delivering high-quality care within the established frameworks. As director, you are fully responsible for the quality of care and for sustainable operations, including finance, HR, and information provision within your organizational unit.

We are seeking a director for our portfolio of 24-hour care, young adult teams, and the intake and placement office. This portfolio consists of 23 teams and employs 18 managers. The teams provide residential support to our clients, both those in a residential setting and those who live independently or in certain forms of group living. The Director of Care shares responsibility for organization-wide strategy and policy and participates in various projects and steering committees, both internally and externally. They also play a leading role on behalf of our organization in the city.

  • As a member of the HVO-Querido management team, you will help develop the strategic policy and vision for the entire organization, ensuring that policies are thoroughly implemented throughout the organization;
