Probiblio’s drivers do important work. They transport books and other materials to and from libraries, schools, and healthcare facilities in North and South Holland. They ensure that library collections remain up to date and that books reserved by members are ready for pickup. Our Logistics and Collections department consists of a manager, a coordinator, 4 collection staff members, and 15 drivers.
First and foremost, you’ll have a great time, because you’ll be part of an enthusiastic and dedicated team. Once you’re on the road, you’ll have a significant amount of responsibility. You’ll pick up and deliver books and materials along set routes. You’ll scan and sort materials, assist your colleagues with tasks in the department, and take care of the truck. The weekly schedule varies, but you’ll always work 4 days of 9-hour shifts. We don’t do overtime, and you have the weekends off. Since you’re in daily contact with customers, you’re the face of Probiblio! The entire organization is behind you.
