We inspire with programs for all audiences and play a key role in youth programming on public television. We produce long-running hits like Het Klokhuis, the Welkom… series , and Het Sinterklaasjournaal, while also constantly creating and developing new youth titles using that same ideal blend of humor and information.
Back to the Hype is a fun quiz show for the whole family, packed with funny and surprising clips about trends from the past to the present. Led by the youngest family member, teams made up of three generations take viewers—and each other—on a trip down memory lane. The eight episodes of Back to the Hype will air on Zapp starting in late January 2024.
What will you be doing:
- Coordinate and organize the entire casting process
- Work closely with colleagues to scout potential candidates, while keeping the young team captain in mind;
- Review and process new applications;
- Serve as the primary point of contact and dedicated mentor for the candidates throughout the entire production period;
- Working with the editorial team to develop the content of the quiz;
- Assist the editorial team with other tasks, such as researching background information.
This is you:
- So enthusiastic that you inspire others;
- Interested in the different generations of candidates;
- Comfortable working as part of a team, but also capable of working independently;
- Hands-on, flexible, and you work at a fast pace;
- Organized and always keeps track of everything;
- Preferably with experience as a (casting) editor for studio programs.
Here's what we offer:
- A contract from September 1 through November 30, 2023. Depending on knowledge and experience, this position is compensated within salary grade G (€2,869.55 – €4,377.65) of the broadcasting collective bargaining agreement.
