We are looking for a [position] for the Operations & Green Team
Administrator (m/f/x, 36 hours per week)
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the organization. It starts the moment you walk in. What does the castle grounds look like? Is everything clean, intact, and well-maintained? If not, you’ll know how to fix it as quickly as possible. You’ll identify issues, take charge, organize, get things done, and make sure you’re visible and approachable. Within a few weeks, we won’t know how we ever managed without you!
What are you going to do?
- You are responsible for keeping the castle, grounds, and office tidy, safe, and clean.
- You identify and repair defects and perform minor maintenance tasks. Sometimes you have others do this under your supervision.
- You will communicate with internal and external parties regarding defects and scheduled work.
- You will supervise and oversee the performance of cleaning and maintenance work on the building, grounds, and technical systems.
- You maintain contact with and receive visits from suppliers.
- You are responsible for opening and closing the castle and the office.
- You'll be working on the sales floor and occasionally helping out at the register.
- You are the lead emergency response coordinator and take action when necessary.
- During (public) events, you will set up equipment (video, audio, presentations), check for malfunctions, and make adjustments as needed. You will also ensure that everything runs smoothly during the event and take down the equipment afterward.
- You always think ahead and keep track of inventory and orders for necessary materials and products.
- You will coordinate (maintenance) work and perform (light) administrative tasks.
- You will ensure that tables, chairs, and equipment are set up for meetings and gatherings.
- You are flexible and available to work, including on weekends, holidays, and evenings.

- a valid driver's license.
- You can speak, read, and write in Dutch (preferably also in English).
- You are willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during school breaks.

- You live in the Muiden/Weesp/Amsterdam area or in the Gooi region.
What do we offer?
You’ll have a varied and independent role in a dynamic environment. You’ll receive a competitive salary in accordance with the Museum Collective Labor Agreement, scale 6 (minimum €2,615 and maximum €3,199). Your starting salary will depend on your education and experience. In addition, you’ll receive an 8% vacation allowance and a 3.4% year-end bonus.
