Then apply to become an advisor on transparency, information management, and disclosure.
In this new role, which you will help shape in part, you will closely monitor relevant developments in the areas of information management, disclosure, and transparency, and apply these insights to the day-to-day operations of your DG. This might include, for example, implementing guidelines for Berichtenapp archiving or overseeing the process for disclosing decision memos. You will also contribute ideas for improvements in handling Woo requests and coach colleagues on prioritizing and organizing their work. If necessary, you will act as a team leader. Thanks to your leadership, your colleagues will know exactly how to handle their information; you will promote a transparent way of working and ensure that information management for substantive cases is and remains in order.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for employees and management on matters related to information management, disclosure, and transparency, and you will establish the appropriate framework, processes, and guidance for these areas. You will do this in collaboration with relevant policy staff, colleagues responsible for handling Woo requests, and others. As an advisor, you are a true hub of the organization, identifying opportunities and acting on them proactively. In addition, in this role you serve as a liaison at the tactical/strategic level and relieve managers and directors of concerns related to your areas of expertise.
As an advisor on Transparency, Information Management, and Disclosure, you will interact with a wide range of stakeholders involved in these areas. This includes the Transparency in Information (TiI) Program, which oversees all new developments related to information management and disclosure, as well as departments such as Digital Information Services. You will assist one another where necessary and exchange knowledge and experience.
We are currently looking to hire three Transparency, Information Management, and Disclosure Advisors to support four Directorates-General (DGs):
Which DG will you be working in? We’ll decide that together with you based on your interests, knowledge, and experience. This means that when you apply for this general opening, we’ll work with you during the selection process to determine which role within the organization is the best fit for you. Recruitment is coordinated by the Transparency in Information (TiI) Program. For new employees, the TiI Program organizes a joint onboarding program covering various topics, such as an introduction to the organization, work processes, and education and training. In this way, we work together to ensure you get off to a flying start.
You can find more information about the DGs under the heading “About the DGs at EZK and LNV.” We ask that you indicate in your cover letter which DGs you prefer, based on your interests and knowledge.
