Building an effective operational structure. Collaborating with our partners in the healthcare sector. And inspiring our care teams in Friesland and Flevoland. As Regional Director, you’ll do it all. And you’ll do it at Accare, a unique organization in youth mental health care that combines academic research with treatment and training. All with one goal in mind: getting children and young people back on their feet and helping them move forward. Will you make a difference?
Together with Harry Meulman, Regional Director of Care Services, you will focus on ensuring effective operations and high-quality care in our Friesland/Flevoland region. This means that 180 colleagues who provide care to approximately 2,500 young people and their families each year can count on you. You will shape Accare’s strategic policy in the region. In addition, there are important internal and external developments taking place within our organization to which you will contribute significantly. How about setting and implementing our strategic course “We’re Building Tomorrow,” in which the client is central, we make optimal use of our resources, and we strengthen one another? You’ll also be involved in national themes such as the Youth Reform Agenda and will take ownership of a number of Accare-wide strategic themes. You truly make a difference—for Accare and our clients.
Here are some of your responsibilities:
You combine a strong vision for business operations with collaborative and empathetic leadership. You enjoy working with colleagues and external partners to achieve the desired results. At the same time, you are also capable of working independently to implement our goals and policies. In your work, you strive to build strong partnerships and relationships, but you also have the confidence to take a critical stance and make decisive decisions. You have strong interpersonal skills and are proactive. You can turn plans into action. You also closely follow developments in our field, recognize the needs and interests of stakeholders, and think in terms of solutions.
What else do you have at home?
At Accare, you’ll have the opportunity to grow and push boundaries. All for one goal: to get 13,000 children and young people in the northern, central, and eastern Netherlands moving again and help them get back on track. We believe that no one’s problems are “too complex.” That’s why we invest in research, training, and innovation, and offer customized solutions—even when it’s challenging. We often do this in collaboration with others, such as municipalities, schools, and healthcare providers.
Our ideal scenario? A team that’s just as diverse as the children, young people, and families we help. We’re not quite there yet, but we’re working on it. We value the differences among our colleagues; that helps us stay sharp and learn from one another. That’s exactly why we’re open to your perspectives and ideas. With our flat hierarchy and open culture, we work together to create an environment where you’ll feel at home and can grow.
