Building a well-functioning organization. Collaborating with our partners in the healthcare sector. And inspiring our care teams in Overijssel and parts of Gelderland. As Regional Director, you’ll do it all. And you’ll do it at Accare, a unique organization in youth mental health care that combines academic research with treatment and training. Isn’t it wonderful that you’ll be helping children and young people reintegrate into society?

What will you be doing?

Together with the Regional Director of Care, you will focus on ensuring effective operations and high-quality care in our Overijssel+ region. This means that 185 colleagues who provide care to approximately 2,500 young people and their families each year can count on you. You will shape Accare’s strategic policy in the region. In addition, there are important developments underway at our organization to which you will contribute significantly. How about setting and further developing our internal direction, which centers on network collaboration and digitization, among other things? And the strategic development agendas of the four youth care regions in your area of operation? You will also be involved in national themes such as thereform agenda. You truly make a difference—for Accare and our clients.

Here are some of your responsibilities:

  • All teams operate according to the "Steering Together" philosophy. You help them carry out their work, set the parameters, and create maximum autonomy and flexibility within those parameters.
  • You will ensure the right balance between the development of the core business process and sound operational management. In doing so, you will identify potential operational risks within contracts with healthcare procurement organizations, which you will monitor and manage to mitigate those risks.
  • You’ll ensure that income and revenue are in balance and promote financial awareness among your colleagues. We’re in good financial health. And of course, we want to keep it that way so we can remain flexible and well-prepared for the future.
  • In no time, you’ll build a strong network that includes local governments and other partners. In doing so, you’ll connect the outside world with Accare’s work.
  • You will serve as a key advisor to the Board of Directors. And as part of the executive team, you will help shape the direction of our organization.
  • One of your top priorities is an organization made up of colleagues with diverse backgrounds and talents.

What do we offer?

  • A full-time, permanent position.
  • A gross monthly salary between €6,679 and €10,358 (FWG job group 80 under the mental health care collective bargaining agreement) based on a 36-hour workweek. Plus an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%.
  • Hybrid work is standard practice here, and we’re open to flexible arrangements. You’ll also receive a work-from-home allowance.
  • A good pension plan.
  • 23 days of leave per calendar year and 5 days of leave in the form of a life-stage budget (based on a 36-hour workweek).
  • We place a strong emphasis on work-life balance and well-being. This includes access to a variety of online tools, a bicycle plan, company-sponsored fitness programs, and an annual work-life balance budget (€500, prorated) that you can use for training, time off, or a salary bonus.

Who are you?

You combine a strong vision for business operations with a collaborative and empathetic leadership style. You enjoy working with colleagues and external partners to achieve the desired results. At the same time, you are also capable of working independently to implement our goals and policies. In your work, you strive for strong collaborations and relationships, but you also have the courage to take a critical stance and make decisions. You also closely follow developments in our field, recognize the needs and interests of all parties, and think in terms of solutions.

What else do you have at home?

  • Academic level.
  • Knowledge of change processes.
  • Experience managing (highly educated) professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in healthcare management.
  • A relevant network or the skills to build one quickly.

This is where you'll be working
