This is us

The VAVO Lyceum is part of ROC Midden Nederland and has its own

face-to-face. We have two locations: one in Utrecht and one in Amersfoort. Our students are

primarily students preparing for their final exams in VMBO-TL, HAVO, and VWO. In addition, we have

Transition programs: higher education, vocational education (MBO), and senior general secondary education (HAVO).

With our courses and wide range of programs, ROC Midden Nederland is a

ROC Midden Nederland offers education at all levels and in virtually all fields

in the field of vocational education. We do this with approximately 1,800 staff members serving about 17,000 students at

various locations in Utrecht, Amersfoort, and Nieuwegein. The VAVO Lyceum is part of

What will you be doing?

As president, you are responsible for the vision and strategy, as well as for developing

the portfolio (course offerings) of the VAVO Lyceum as a single educational institution. You have

ample opportunity to develop your own educational vision within the framework of the ROC

Central Netherlands policy. You have autonomy, but at the same time you must be able to

operate independently. A three-year plan for the VAVO Lyceum was recently introduced

has been drafted. The outline and themes have been established. Now it’s up to you to take on the challenge professionally
