The DeSolidariteit Foundation is a young and dynamic organization dedicated to building a more humane future. Our mission is simple yet powerful: Make Tomorrow Humane. We strive for a society guided by solidarity, where everyone has access to essential aspects of life such as housing, employment, education, healthcare, income, culture, the environment and climate, democracy and the rule of law, and international cooperation.

Your Role

As Vice Chair, you will play a pivotal role in our organization. You will work closely with our current board, led by Dr. Bert Breij, and help us achieve our mission. You have the ambition to eventually take on the role of Chair and are committed to advancing the growth and impact of the DeSolidariteit Foundation.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a motivated individual with:

• Leadership and coordination skills
• Extensive experience with professional volunteer organizations
• Empathetic and passionate, but always reasonable
• Connector
• Practicus
• A Democrat through and through
• Convinced that the Netherlands cannot do without a society based on solidarity
• HBO level.
• Availability of up to 16 hours per week on average.
• Digital skills.
• Resident in the Netherlands.
