About the role

The Finance & Control department is looking for an accounting clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that financial records are processed accurately and on time. You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders within the organization and help ensure reliable financial record-keeping and reporting.

In this role, you will serve as a “jack-of-all-trades” for the entire financial administration team (consisting of 6 FTEs). You will be responsible for the accurate, timely, and correct processing of financial records and payment transactions. Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

  • checking the list of outstanding accounts receivable and accounts payable;
  • maintaining and reconciling the balance sheet suspense account;
  • responsible for maintaining the restaurant's accounting records;
  • create invoice summaries for specific projects;
  • reconciling physical and book inventory;
  • maintaining, among other things, the cash and bank ledgers;
  • processing of direct debits for donations, among other things.

About you

Are you up for the challenge of taking on a role in this unique environment? We require that you hold a practical diploma in accounting and have several years of relevant work experience in a finance department. Knowledge of financial accounting and tax laws and regulations is essential to perform this role effectively. In addition, it is important that you work independently and accurately, and proficiency in Excel, AccountView, or other accounting systems is a plus.

  • The salary for this position ranges from a minimum of €2,739 to a maximum of €3,623 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience, based on full-time employment (38 hours).
  • 30 vacation days and 5 compensatory time off days (for full-time employment, 38 hours per week);
  • 8% vacation pay and a good pension plan;
