The functional management of Osiris—the Student Information System—is the responsibility of the Education and Student Affairs (OSZ) department. Functional management is carried out and coordinated by two functional managers, together with five team members who are process experts and who, in part, perform functional management tasks within their areas of expertise. This team is based in downtown Utrecht.
What is your role?
- You will be responsible for managing and configuring features in Osiris to support HKU’s educational programs and students.
- You translate user requirements into features within Osiris and keep abreast of developments in education and educational logistics to ensure that we can anticipate them.
- You will support Osiris key users and work with them to resolve (complex) issues by carefully analyzing them and proposing and implementing appropriate solutions, whether or not as part of a project.
- You will provide advice and contribute to the development of the functional management of Osiris and the associated services;
What do you bring to the table?
- HBO-level work and/or thinking skills, supplemented by (or a willingness to take) training or courses for a functional administrator.
- Several years of work experience in educational logistics.
- Experience as a systems administrator is preferred.
- You’re a team player, both within and outside your immediate team, and you easily connect with end users.
- You have a thorough understanding of Osiris (and its data model).
- You are able to express yourself well in Dutch.
- You can adapt quickly and are proactive.
What do we have to offer?
- The position is available immediately and is for one year, with the possibility of an extension and, ultimately, a permanent position, subject to satisfactory performance.
- In accordance with the collective bargaining agreement for higher professional education (Cao-HBO), the gross monthly salary for full-time employment ranges from a minimum of €3,377 to a maximum of €5,378 (scale 10), depending on education and experience.
