Help build forward-looking teams and provide strong support for victims.

This will be your job

As District Manager for the Northern Netherlands, you will provide daily leadership to the various team leaders and a number of staff members. You will ensure that victims in your region can always count on receiving the right kind of help. In this role, you’ll connect teams, locations, and the national organization. You’ll build a strong network and ensure that everything—from policy to processes—works effectively in practice. In this way, you’ll work with your teams to deliver people-centered, efficient, and innovative services.

In crisis situations, you’ll be available outside of office hours and take on coordinating responsibilities. You’ll also serve as the primary point of contact for local media. In addition, you’ll focus on results and quality, monitor the budget, and translate national strategy into practical action. Your focus? A clear direction, decisive execution, and strong collaboration with local partners such as the police, the Public Prosecution Service, and safety regions.

This is what it's all about

You provide guidance to teams that make a difference in the lives of victims every day. Your work matters, and you’ll also receive: :

  • A one-year contract with an option to renew.
  • Training opportunities and access to the Skills Town learning platform.
  • A personalized benefits package: 26 additional hours of leave, 8% vacation pay, and an 8.3% year-end bonus—all yours to use as you see fit.
  • An NS business card, for business travel in second class.
  • An individual career budget.

Who are you?

You are a strategically strong leader with an eye for both people and results. You maintain a broad perspective, know how to adapt to different levels, and motivate teams to take action. You also bring the following:

  • Academic-level work and thinking skills, and at least 3 years of managerial experience in a similar role;
  • Knowledge of human resources, financial, and quality policies;
  • Experience in legal and/or social services;
  • Knowledge of change and crisis management;
  • Decisiveness, a focus on results, and the ability to build support;
