We are seeking a new Director for the Regional Development Agency for Industrial Parks in Land van Heusden en Altena (ROB), and we are also asking this person to submit a proposal on how the ROB could be restructured.
The plan is to build a completely new team because The current director, the planning economist, and eventually the account manager are leaving due to retirement. We are taking this special opportunity to find a new director who can lead a complete turnaround with a new team. A unique part-time assignment for a freelancer.
Role of Director:
The director is responsible for the operational management and accountability of ROB Beheer BV, the project-based development of business parks, the preparation of land development plans, contracting, acquisition, and marketing. The director’s current role is that of a hands-on manager, with the understanding that he bears full responsibility for all of ROB’s financial and legal activities. Ultimately, the director is also responsible for the outcomes of negotiations, so it is important that he or she is well-versed in the “rules of the game” and knows how to navigate them. This requires a broad understanding of all aspects of land development and project development/management. Depending on how the director organizes the work, we expect the position to require approximately 16–20 hours per week.
