More about this organization
An artist on stage performing for an enthusiastic audience holding up their smartphones during a live show.

Deeply rooted in jazz and hip-hop, but with branches extending into R&B, soul, funk, and electronic music, BIRD is the place to be for the cultural omnivore. The name of the venue, club, and restaurant refers to the poetic nickname of the American jazz saxophonist Charlie “BIRD” Parker. BIRD consists of a foundation (Stichting Jazzpodium Rotterdam, trading as Live@Bird), responsible for live programming and festivals, and a limited liability company (restaurant, club nights, B2B, and Garden of BIRD).
