Cultuurpunt operates under a Supervisory Board model. The Supervisory Board has five members. The management team consists of the Executive Director and the Operations Manager. We have approximately nine enthusiastic and dedicated staff members. In addition, we collaborate with about 35 cultural professionals on a freelance basis and some 20 cultural organizations to achieve Cultuurpunt’s objectives.
The 2025–2028 policy plan will serve as a guide for the coming years and is designed to be flexible. Each year, the policy plan is monitored using the PDCA cycle, and adjustments are made as necessary.

The new executive director we have in mind is an inspiring and unifying leader who is visible both internally and externally. As an innovative thinker and charismatic doer, you are able to translate ideas into concrete solutions. Your results-oriented approach allows you to seamlessly switch between strategic, tactical, and operational levels. In addition, you are a program manager and know how to effectively lead the Programs department.
We are looking for an executive director who, in addition to serving as a director, will also take on the role of program manager and bring passion to the position.

With knowledge of the Zeeland network and an affinity for the arts and culture sector, you are able to build and maintain networks. You possess broad knowledge and experience, which enable you to make a constructive contribution at the strategic level—addressing the organization’s ambitions and challenges—as well as within the regional network. You are authentic, make genuine connections, are close to the employees, and actively invest in building relationships.

The remuneration guidelines published by Cultuurconnectie apply to the part-time position of Executive Director (0.89 FTE). The gross annual salary at the midpoint of the pay range is approximately €80,000 (including vacation pay and a year-end bonus) for a full-time position of 36 hours per week. The appointment is for a period of one year with the prospect of a permanent position.
