We are looking for a socially conscious visionary who, with a sense of realism and a focus on the interests of our tenants, challenges our organization to continually innovate. You know how to connect internal operations with external developments in an inspiring way. You possess natural leadership qualities that demonstrate courage, vision, and the ability to build support. You believe in the power of collaboration and are capable of further expanding our strong partnerships with our external collaborators. Does this sound like you? Then we look forward to hearing from you!
Sité provides approximately 8,000 suitable and affordable homes to tenants in the municipalities of Bronckhorst, Doetinchem, and Oude IJsselstreek. Our goal is for everyone to have a comfortable home. A home is a house, yet so much more than that. It is more than just bricks and mortar. We don’t just rent out homes; we work to create a wonderful home with and for our tenants. In a neighborhood where it’s safe, where there’s a strong sense of community, where people feel seen. For us, working together to create a wonderful home in the Achterhoek means staying close to the people. We’re on the move and committed to the change that’s needed, with a heart for our current and future tenants in the wider area where our homes are located.
We believe that together we can make a difference for our tenants. Collaboration is in our DNA. In the coming years, we will make an extra contribution to building a better society, based on the understanding that our tenants’ various areas of life—such as housing, work, education, health, and safety—are interconnected and influence one another. Drawing on our expertise in creating a “comfortable home,” we connect housing to these other areas of life. We do this by forming vital coalitions, both within our organization and with our tenants and professionals who—like us—are open to this approach. In the coming years, we will invest heavily in making our homes future-proof and keeping them affordable. Together with others, we are doing our utmost to keep neighborhoods livable. To this end, our employees are visible in the neighborhoods and districts, devising new housing concepts while simultaneously ensuring that our (financial) continuity is safeguarded. Would you like to know more about our ambitions? Then take a look at ourLong-Term Strategy 2022–2026.
Sité is financially sound, and we want to keep it that way. We have strong operational management. This is essential, as the investments in renovating and making our homes more sustainable place significant financial demands on us. We are focused on ensuring that we remain capable of realizing our ambitions in the long term. We do this by using three themes—affordability, availability, and sustainability—to assess the scope of our challenge and determine how to address it. By working and thinking in terms of strategic long-term scenarios, we ensure—in a context where this is becoming less and less a given—that we will still be able to offer our tenants a comfortable home fifty years from now.
Sité is led by a single-person board, the Executive Director. The CEO leads the integrated management team, which includes the Operations & Organization Manager and the Housing & Real Estate Manager. The CEO has ultimate responsibility for policy and the organization. The Supervisory Board exercises internal oversight of the policy and performance of the CEO and the organization.
The guiding principles of our approach to governance and oversight are:
We are looking for a new managing director
After working with passion at Sité for nearly two terms, our managing director decided to pursue a new challenge outside of Sité. That is why we are looking for her successor. We are a financially sound and ambitious housing association that maintains a strong relationship with our tenant representative body (Siverder). We operate based on a widely supported long-term strategy that puts our tenants first. We are steadfast in our course, but at the same time, we realize that developments—both technical and social—are moving quickly. This requires us to be agile, to continue innovating, and to make choices. Visionary, yet grounded in reality.
What are we looking for in our new CEO?
We realize that we’re asking a lot, but we also have a lot to offer: big ambitions, plenty of room for growth and innovation, and great colleagues. And, of course, the opportunity to make a difference for our tenants. All this in a dynamic region that, just like Sité, is constantly evolving. If this sounds like you and you’re interested, we look forward to hearing from you.
The CEO’s salary complies with relevant laws and regulations and meets the requirements of the Senior Executives’ Pay Standards Act.
