LOC Waardevolle zorg is looking for a second board member who is willing to commit an average of 24 hours per week to our network. We are dedicated to promoting user involvement and innovation in (long-term) care.
LOC Valuable Care is a network of people involved in healthcare. We want everyone to be able to lead a meaningful life—even when they need care. We have articulated this in our vision “Valuable Care”. LOC is a nonprofit foundation and operates as a network organization.
Since 1978, we have been supporting client councils and other forms of employee participation in the healthcare sector. Since 2017, we have also been facilitating various reform initiatives in nursing care, home care, youth care, and mental health care.
LOC has two board members who coordinate the network. We are looking for a board member who wants to help set the direction for LOC, who will enthusiastically ensure cohesion within the network (both paid and unpaid staff), and who will oversee the administrative office. The two board members work together as a collegial board.
LOC operates as a network organization that promotes diversity of backgrounds. For our board members, we work with independent contractors on a contract basis. Are you interested in this position?
