Head of Policy/Academic Secretary (1 FTE)
What will you be doing?
As Head of Policy, you are responsible for
development, implementation, and evaluation of the academy’s policy regarding
student well-being, cross-program educational policy, and quality assurance. The most

The Academy of Theatre and Dance (ATD) is a
a higher education institution. The academy offers eleven bachelor's programs and three
a master's program and two associate degree programs in theater and dance.
All programs are linked to professional practice, both nationally and
internationally. Students are trained as actors, mime artists, dancers,
choreographer, theater or dance teacher, and even director, set designer, technical
designer, stage manager, production manager, and creative producer.

The role's position within the organization
The academy is led by a
director who has ultimate responsibility for the entire organization. The
responsibility for the quality of education has been delegated to the
artistic directors of the various programs, divided into three
fields: Dance, Theater, and Master’s Programs. The Master’s programs and the research group together form the
Graduate School, which is overseen by the professor.
As Head of Policy, you are a member of the Team
Operations (TB), which includes the director, the associate professor, and the artistic directors
provides support in day-to-day operations. The TB meets weekly and
consists, in addition to you, of the heads of operations and the production departments,
ICT (information and communication technology in education), facilities management,
the support staff coordinator and the HR and organizational advisor.
You will also be part of the
Academy Board (AB), which meets five times a year and makes decisions
be adopted that provide guidance and set the framework for the policy of the
the entire academy. The other members of the Executive Board are the director, the professor, the
the head of operations and two representatives from each academic program.
As the academy secretary, you are the right-hand person

the Cao-HBO collective bargaining agreement, which includes an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%, a

(a minimum of €4,715.81 and a maximum of €6,064.86 gross per month based on a
