Will you help build a better future for the residents of the vibrant Woensel Zuid district in the growing city of Eindhoven? Do you know how to inspire, connect, drive breakthroughs, and deliver results? Are you approachable and a strategic thinker? Then we’re looking for you!
We are looking for a Director for Pact Woensel Zuid | Eindhoven.
With 40,000 residents across three districts and seventeen neighborhoods, the Woensel Zuid district is vibrant, colorful, and diverse. We see that things are not going as well in Woensel Zuid as in the rest of Eindhoven. Not everyone in the district is able to benefit from the city’s growth. We want to change this with the Woensel Zuid Pact as part of the National Program for Livability and Safety. We will be working with all kinds of people from the area, including entrepreneurs, residents, organizations in healthcare and welfare, education, resident organizations, and housing associations. The Pact outlines what we will work on together and how we will do it. We will get to work as the Woensel Zuid Alliance. The partners in the Alliance are joining forces and will dedicate themselves heart and soul to the goals of the Woensel Zuid Pact over the next 20 years. We want Woensel Zuid to be a place where people enjoy living and where residents have the same opportunities as in the rest of the city in 20 years’ time. Only together can we make that happen. Together, for each other.
We are looking for a self-motivated director who can shape the collaborative process between partners to achieve the desired breakthroughs. You will be responsible for engaging, prioritizing, organizing, inspiring, innovating, and connecting residents and partners to contribute to the goals of Pact Woensel Zuid. Resident involvement is essential. It is important that they have a say in deciding the priorities and the realization of breakthroughs. After all, residents must experience the effects of these changes and are often part of the solution to the issue themselves.
You will work on setting up a program organization that collaborates closely with all partners in the Alliance, including residents. You will be responsible for the implementation program and the associated budget, in collaboration with the Program Office, Core Team, and Alliance Council. You will foster collaboration with enthusiastic partners and constantly seek opportunities to strengthen and diversify the Alliance. In doing so, you will also secure additional grants and funding and draft project plans and budgets.
You will work with the Alliance and the residents to develop a widely supported strategic and implementation plan. This requires extensive experience at both the senior management and operational levels to motivate stakeholders to take action and achieve results. It is crucial that the members of the Alliance take responsibility for effective implementation and collaboration, while the director serves as a unifying force who supports the stakeholders but also holds them accountable for their responsibilities.
