We’re here for parents and caregivers who have questions. And for children and young people who could use a little support. We’re always there for them: during pregnancy, at the well-baby clinic, in the classroom and beyond, right up until they turn 18. What will you be doing?

As Director of Youth & Family, you will have overall responsibility for the strategic and tactical management of a large, professional team. You will turn our vision into reality and know how to engage people in the change process.

• You will provide overall leadership of the Youth & Family division and be responsible for strategy, implementation, and results.
• You will focus on organizational development, quality, and innovation in a multidisciplinary environment.
• You navigate a complex governance structure with ease and bring together diverse interests.
• You will maintain and strengthen the network with municipalities, supply chain partners, and other stakeholders.
• You encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation within the team.
• You know how to strike a balance between structure and flexibility, between continuity and transformation.
• You embed diversity and inclusion in your leadership and team development.

What are you bringing?

• Extensive experience as a director or senior manager in a complex environment.
• Proven strategic and business management skills, including experience with PIOFACH responsibilities.
• In-depth knowledge of and experience with organizational development and change processes.
• Ability to focus on quality, results, and innovation in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Political and administrative acumen and experience in maintaining relationships with municipal clients.
• A vision for diversity and inclusion, and the ability to translate this into policy and practice.

• Effective January 1, 2026, CJG Rijnmond will adopt the VVT collective bargaining agreement, and the position will be classified under FWG 75. 
• This is initially a one-year position. 
• A selection assessment is part of the process.

The first round of interviews will take place on Monday, December 8, and the selection and development assessment is scheduled for Thursday, December 11, and Friday, December 12.
