Are you an ambitious and strategic director with a vision who collaborates, inspires, connects, and spots opportunities? Would you like to help design and build a brand-new cultural center in the growing municipality of Lansingerland?
The Municipality of Lansingerland is building a beautiful new cultural center, Casa Cadanza, which will be located in the heart of Berkel Centrum West. For this new cultural center, the Municipality of Lansingerland is seeking a passionate and enterprising director who is ready to take on the challenge of developing a cultural center where culture is experienced in the broadest sense of the word. This is a wonderful opportunity to help build a unique new cultural facility for the region, with plenty of freedom and room to shape the project according to your own vision.
With two movie theaters, a large multipurpose hall, classrooms, dining facilities, and a library, Casa Cadanza will become the cultural heart of Berkel Centrum West. A place where connection and wonder take center stage. An accessible space where everyone feels at home and enjoys spending time, and a home that sparks curiosity. Groundbreaking for Casa Cadanza will take place in 2023. It is expected that by 2025, the doors will be wide open to all visitors to the cultural center.
Before the grand opening, the Casa Cadanza Cultural Center Foundation is working with the Oostland Library and other social and cultural partners to develop a high-quality and diverse program. The challenge is to create an interesting mix of in-house programming and collaborations with users and partners of the cultural center. In 2023, this will be a 32-hour-per-week position, leading to full-time employment in 2024 in accordance with the Dutch Performing Arts Collective Bargaining Agreement (CAO Nederlandse Podia).
