About the department
Within our Bachelor's Program, we have eleven design studios that are an integral part of the educational program. You work in a team of coordinators and educational desk employees and are managed by the Head of Bachelor Programme.
What you will be doing
In this role, you will have an important contribution to the quality of our education and organization. You will be coordinating 2 teams in the Bachelor Department. You will handle communication and planning with tutors and students, keep track of quality assurance of the overall set-up of the program during the year, moderate the evaluation procedure, solve issues during regular meetings with the educational support teams, guide feedback sessions and organize trips. You have an important facilitating role and manage the budgets for the educational activities. You are actively involved in the organization and implementation of assessments and examinations.
More in general, this role also covers process improvement: together with your team, you analyze the current processes and systems and bring efficiency to it. You identify and suggest opportunities for improvements and keep track of the development. You team up with tutors, students, studio leaders, the Head of the BA Program, your coordinating colleagues, and the supporting services (e.g. Finance, HRM, Communications) to ensure the processes run as smoothly as possible. Therefore, presence at DAE for at least 2 days a week is required.

Our offer
We are offering you a challenging position in an international and dynamic working environment. This concerns two part-time positions, each for 16 hours a week. Salary indication between € 3.881,- and maximum € 5.332,- gross a month for full-time employment (scale 11). The employment terms are in accordance with the collective labor agreement CAO-HBO, including a holiday allowance of 8% and a year-end bonus of 8.3%. We offer you a temporary contract for the duration of one year with the possibility of an extension. The submission of a VOG (a certificate of good behavior) is a requirement for accepting a position with Design Academy Eindhoven.
