Team Leader

The !WOON Foundation helps tenants, resident groups, and owner-occupiers in Amsterdam and the surrounding area with all their housing-related questions and issues. We assist people looking for housing, provide advice on energy conservation, and promote new forms of housing. We do this with a staff of about 130 and 120 volunteers.

!WOON is looking for a [position] for its East/Southeast teams

TEAM LEADER (32–36 hours)

What will you be doing?

You will manage two local teams. One team, consisting of 8 staff members, serves residents in Amsterdam-East and Diemen, while the other team, with 6 staff members, serves Amsterdam-Southeast, Weesp, and Ouder-Amstel. You know how to motivate your staff and support them with more complex (legal) issues. You also actively contribute to providing substantive support to residents. You are the face of !WOON in the working area and maintain contacts with municipalities, various (social) organizations, and resident groups. Like the five other team leaders at !WOON, you are a member of the management team and, in that capacity, contribute ideas regarding the (implementation of the) organizational strategy. You are supported by two assistant team leaders.

Who are we looking for?

• For this challenging position, we are looking for someone who:
• Has experience in leadership;
• Has a coaching leadership style and knows how to inspire his or her team members;
• Has knowledge and experience in tenancy law and tenant support;
• Shares a common vision with !WOON’s mission and target audiences;
• A true-blue networker is;
• Works and thinks at a minimum at the higher vocational education (HBO+) level.

• Depending on your experience, a gross monthly salary between €4,004 and €6,321 (in accordance with Scale 10 of the Social Work Collective Bargaining Agreement, for a full-time position).
• Do you live more than 10 kilometers from your workplace? If so, you will receive a travel allowance.
