Lyceum Sancta Maria: Together, we educate students for more than just a diploma!
Would you like to join our team as an HRM specialist to help us achieve this goal?!
HRM is your field. From personnel administration and HR correspondence to legal and regulatory issues, this is right up your alley. You understand the power of Strategic Human Resources Management (SHRM). Working in education is inspiring, and you know that creating an attractive workplace is an integral part of that. In your work, attention to detail, efficiency, and collaboration are paramount. You are up to date on the latest developments in HR and enjoy taking the lead in incorporating these into HRM policy.
Does this sound like you? Then this role might be just the thing for you.
As an all-around HRM specialist, you will apply your knowledge and skills to all routine HRM operations and tasks. You will serve as the primary point of contact for questions regarding legal status, handle HR correspondence, and process personnel changes. In addition, you will manage absence and leave records and handle tasks related to the hiring, promotion, and departure of colleagues.
You will work in a dynamic environment as part of a close-knit, dedicated team, collaborating closely with the principal and the HRM staff member in an atmosphere that fosters growth and improvement. We challenge you to come up with ideas that make our work processes easier and faster. In your work, you will naturally ensure compliance with the CAO-VO, applicable laws and regulations, and Sancta policies.
· You will implement policies regarding legal status and employment conditions: you will answer questions and process requests administratively. You will also ensure that policies and regulations are applied correctly in accordance with the CAO-VO (Collective Labor Agreement for the Public Sector) and, for example, pension fund and insurance requirements.
· You are responsible for ensuring that recruitment and selection procedures are carried out correctly. This means overseeing the drafting and posting of job openings, screening incoming applications, and conducting discussions regarding terms of employment.
· In collaboration with the training team, you will help with the onboarding of new employees.
· You will assist with workforce planning at Zermelo and ensure that the correct data is processed.
· You will support and monitor the scheduling and progress of assessment procedures.
· You provide management information, both when requested and on your own initiative.
· You will perform tasks related to occupational health and safety and employee absenteeism, such as tracking absenteeism, handling administrative tasks under the Gatekeeper Improvement Act, reviewing relevant documents from agencies such as the UWV, and liaising with the occupational health and safety service.
Ensuring that HR policies function effectively is what matters most to you. You are meticulous, service-oriented, proactive, and able to handle stress. With these qualities, you will excel in your role. Accurate and complete data processing is what you stand for! You are a positive team player with a proactive work ethic. You have strong interpersonal skills and are friendly, without losing sight of the ultimate goal.
· A one-year contract for approximately 28 hours per week, with the possibility of permanent employment;
· a work environment where we challenge you to contribute to our educational programs through HRM;
· plenty of opportunities for personal growth within the school and the team;
· A salary based on experience in accordance with the CAO-VO;
· a good pension plan, ABP;
· Excellent benefits, such as the option to use personal time off to take additional days off;
· Off during virtually all school holidays;
· a focus on health and well-being, such as an attractive bicycle plan;
· Regular fun social activities with coworkers;
· a pleasant workplace in a bright and spacious school building;

Sancta is an ambitious school, and that applies to both our students and our staff: every day, they are challenged to bring out the best in themselves, push their limits, and showcase their strengths. We enjoy working together, but we also have a strong focus on the individual. We provide our colleagues with opportunities for development and training, so that everyone can perform at their best and at their own level.
Sancta strives to be a good and modern employer for its staff, where we operate according to the principles of an inclusive organization. Our school is a warm, welcoming place where everyone feels at home, both students and staff.
Sancta is a teacher-training school and a member of the ROSA (Regional Teacher-Training School Amstelland) partnership. In addition to students, we also train college students and career changers.
