Then we are looking for you!
About Limelight
Based in Amsterdam, Stichting Limelight Foundation (Limelight) is an independent philanthropic organisation focused on supporting the information ecosystem. We fund and support journalism and civil society organizations working across Europe on two focus areas:
1) Public Interest Journalism. We support public interest journalism to ensure that accurate, relevant and pluriform information is available.
2) Technology & the Information Ecosystem. We support civil society organisations that work to ensure technology strengthens rather than harms the information ecosystem.
Since our founding in 2021, we have made 100+ donations totalling € 21.5 million. We currently have 50 active grantee partnerships.
About the role
We have ambitious plans to scale up support for the information ecosystem and expand our grant making in the coming years, aiming to bring together a collective of like-minded funders that wish to get involved in strengthening the information ecosystem. Overall coordination of the processes to result in a re-launched Limelight brand and website.
- External Communications. Maintain and strategically expand Limelight’s online and social media footprint, including through regular social media and website updates, contributing articles for external publications and developing relevant online/social media strategies where necessary. Ensure the Limelight brand is consistently applied in all internal and external communication materials.
